Dispute Resolution Center

With the present Dispute Resolution Policy, CRITEC, LDA, a limited liability company, registered in the Commercial Registry Office under corporate entity number 507.596.641 with headquarters at Travessa da Gândara - Vale do Senhor, 3750 – 727 Recardães, union of parishes of Recardães and Espinhel, hereinafter referred to as “CRITEC”, aims to inform Customers/Users about the company's policies and procedures regarding dispute resolution through the website it operates – https://www.critec.pt/.

Alternative dispute resolution consists of the possibility granted to customers/users to resort to official entities that assist in resolving or guiding any conflict, before resorting to judicial instances.

Customers who are defined as consumers under Law no. 144/2015, of September 8, amended by Decree-Law no. 9/2021, of January 29, and who have used the services of CRITEC have the right to resort to official entities in order to resolve any potential conflict, without prejudice to resorting to Judicial Courts.

The updated list of Alternative Dispute Resolution entities is provided in Article 17 of the aforementioned legal statute. In any case, you may contact one of the centers listed below:
- National Center for Consumer Conflict Information and Arbitration (CNIACC);
- Arbitration Center for Consumer Conflicts of the Coimbra Region (CACRC);
- Arbitration Center for Consumer Conflicts of Lisbon (CACCL);
- Consumer Information and Arbitration Center of Porto (CICAP);
- Consumer Information, Mediation, and Arbitration Center (Consumer Arbitration Court) (CIAB).
